Jackson Painting and Decorating is Nick Jackson - a Petersfield decorator with over ten years on the tools and a simple rule: the finish is in the preparation.
Jackson Painting and Decorating Ltd is a small, fully insured decorating firm based in Petersfield, Hampshire, run by Nick Jackson. Most of the work is within half an hour of the town - east Hampshire plus the Surrey and West Sussex borders - and most of it comes from repeat customers and their recommendations.
What we believe about decorating
Ninety per cent of a lasting finish happens before the topcoat goes anywhere near the wall. That means dustless sanding with dust extracted at source. Failed caulk cut out completely rather than skimmed over. Rot removed and replaced rather than painted over. The right primer for every surface. It is slower, and it is why the work still looks right years later.

Who we work with
Homeowners, mostly - occupied family homes where the sheeting, masking and daily clean-up matter as much as the finish. We also work alongside interior designers and cabinetmakers: bespoke kitchen makers Kalluno Design, designers such as William Hartley Design, and trade partners like Team Brewers who have shared our work with their own community.
