Hallway, stairs and landing makeover

The Challenge

A complete hallway, stairs and landing makeover that demanded a huge amount of preparation - all of the old caulk had to be completely cut out from the skirtings, architraves and the stringer on the stairs before any paint went near the walls.

Our Solution (Process & Materials)

Every wall was sanded flat, then built back up: Tikkurila AR2 on the ceiling, Farrow & Ball Wimborne White on the woodwork, Little Greene Jack Black on the banister, Farrow & Ball Travertine on the walls and Little Greene Ambleside at the entrance.

The Result

A lot of patience, but it turned out beautiful - the customer is over the moon with the end product, and everything is ready for the new tile flooring. This is why we do what we do.
